Terms of service

The terms under which you use LinkFetch, in plain English.

Last reviewed September 23, 2026

1Acceptance

By signing up for or using LinkFetch (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. The Service is provided by the LinkFetch team (“we”, “us”).

2The Service

LinkFetch provides a dashboard, API access, an MCP server and a Chrome extension for retrieving public LinkedIn data. We act as a processor when you ingest data through our extension or Cloud mode; you (the user) remain the principal for that session.

Cloud mode is opt-in. By enabling it and giving us your LinkedIn session cookie, you authorise LinkFetch to act on your LinkedIn account, but only to perform the actions you or your AI assistant request, within our published safety limits. You can disconnect at any time; we delete the cookie on disconnect or after 30 days unused. LinkedIn’s own terms restrict automated activity on accounts, and you accept the risk that LinkedIn may challenge or restrict your account as a result of Cloud mode activity.

3Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service to violate any law or third-party right; (b) attempt to automate logged-in LinkedIn activity beyond what our extension or Cloud mode provides; (c) resell raw LinkFetch output as a competing data API without written consent; (d) reverse-engineer the extension or MCP server.

You agree to: (a) respect rate limits; (b) rotate API keys you suspect are compromised; (c) honour access and erasure requests for data you ingest and pass through.

4Fees and billing

LinkFetch is paid in credits; each request costs a flat number of credits, listed under pricing. New accounts receive free credits and one LinkedIn seat. Credits are bought as one-off packs. Extra LinkedIn seats are a monthly subscription that renews automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record.

Purchased credits expire 12 months after purchase unless otherwise stated. Empty responses (404 or zero rows) are never charged.

5Intellectual property

We own the Service, including the API design, the MCP server and the extension code. You own the data you ingest and the workflows you build on top.

Content sourced from LinkedIn (profiles, companies, jobs) remains the property of the underlying rights-holders; we grant you a non-exclusive licence to use it for your stated business purpose, subject to GDPR and CCPA.

6Termination

You can terminate at any time by closing your account in the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend access if you materially breach these Terms (for example, repeated acceptable-use violations), with 14 days' written notice where practicable.

On termination we delete your account data according to our retention schedule (30 days) and honour any in-flight paid workloads.

7Warranty and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the greater of $1,000 or the fees you paid in the prior 12 months.

8Law and venue

The governing law and venue for disputes will be set once LinkFetch incorporates; in the meantime we'll work with you in good faith to resolve issues. Consumer users in the EU and UK keep the protections of their home jurisdiction regardless.

9Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced 30 days in advance by email. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
